Day 36... "Today destroy photos that make you like ugly"
So as you can see todays task was destroying photos that made me look rough, now while i accept it isnt the photos that do that, and the photos in actual fact are an accurate representation of my appearence,
i am a man who censors his photos and i know .. im no male model so i think its only sensible to control the image of yourself you put out there, sure it should be accurate.. but who wants to be seen at their worst? Who wants their nastiest moments recorded for posterity?I mean imagine 50 years..100 years from now if the only photo of you that survived is one you always meant to get rid of...a really horific photo, future generations of your family would think your way more of a biff than you actually are.
So this task provided me with a problem, while there may be plenty of photos in which i look far from divine.. that cant be helped.. however photos of me that i despise simply wouldnt make it through my editing process for tinternet or keeping. So i had a good scout about on facebook and found my not so goods.. and did the same with my oldschool actual photos... some otherwise great photos were torn then burned ... to save face in the future... for example one of me in the late 80's early 90's rocking a lovely shellsuit top (dont worry i still own shell suit photos, i know how important it is that future generations see that and dont repeat our mistakes) and some woryingly coloured jeans... with a killer side parting.. similarly some from parties years ago where i could in all honest have been mistaken for a crack head.
well several photos destroyed... but i couldnt decide how bad the photos you see above are... they were marginal.. so let me know and i'll deal with them accordingly...
