day 50..."Today decide which organs to donate in case of death and leave a copy of this decision with your family. One body can help 100 other people."
....... click on photos to enlarge.......
As benrik so rightly and accurately points out upon death my earthly remains could be of enourmous benefit to science or to the living who stand in need of vital organs. The living could be in receipt of an organ that works ever so slightly better than theyre own faulty version.
And In a century or so scientists could investigate what man ate 100 years ago.. and if properly preserved and thoroughly examined my mortal shell could lead them to the re-discovery of one of mankinds finest culinary delights kebab meat and chips.
Here we see the front view of my good self.. i have indicated organs thay may be of use, for your viewing pleasure and to aid me in my decision making.
This task leaves me with a quandry, Iv'e always felt fairly uneasy with the idea of donating organs, wether for vaguely religious reasons... or the fact that although it would undoubtebly help others... we are talking about how my body parts are to be distibuted after i die.
I believe some of my organs to be in full working order, and some operational but far from in an ideal state. After a good few seconds of considering the people i could help.. the advancements in science i could aid, i came to decision.
I decided I would not be happy for my frame to be diced for science, But i would allow my mortal remains to be used to help the living.. you will notice i havnt specified which organs. There is a reason for this :-
My decision is thus, I will only give consent for my parts to be used as a job lot, all organs for one person, that way its less of a donation and more of a hostile takeover. Imagine pirates swinging from their sinking ship onto an new shiny ship that they intend on taking. Survival of sorts, you see.
Organ decisions made... finito
