day 29... today my mission was to "fabricate a prehistoric cave painting and alert the local authorities" this i did..you can see how i got on above, Billlingham as some of you may know is somewhat lacking in the cave department and when i say lacking i mean there are none, so for that reason... and also because it tickled me more to do so, i used neither an old looking wall nor paint, i went with the marker ,sticky labels and shortcut to Rievaulx Avenue route instead.
Then i stuck that bad boy up.. i was disturbed once and had to bust out the classic just tieing my laces routine, im not sure he bought it but he and his golden retreivers kept mooching past all the same.. i snapped these convincing and completely authentic looking photos and headed home to inform the evening gazette of my alarming discovery the general perception is that people first settled here between 700 and 900 A.D, but i have compeling evidence that sugests otherwise.. you should find a transcript of the email below.

Dear editor
On the way out to Billingham town centre this evening, I made an exciting discovery, and thought it only right to share it with you, After all if it is what it appears to be the people of Teesside, nay the world need to know about it.
I was walking through a shortcut that leads to the park/ football fields at Rievaulx Avenue , I stopped to tie my laces and happened to glance upwards and on a particularly crude and ancient looking wall I discovered the illustration I have sent you as an attachment with this email. I believe it to be a prehistoric cave painting.
Having a keen interest in history I recognised the forms as I have seen them on countless national geographic documentaries , I realise common thinking in the worlds of history and geography is that this area wasn’t settled until after 600 A.D, but as you can see I have unearthed evidence that suggests otherwise.
I find it hard to believe that these etchings havn’t been seen before, but as they have never been either on the front cover of your publication or that of the national press, I can only assume I am the first to behold them. All I ask is that when you unveil them to the world I receive credit as the finder thereof.
Yours sincerely
A bewildered and excited
Mike Shotton

Now im not exactly sure who they meant by the local authorities, i have no idea why even if genuine the police would be interested in that kind of discovery.. so i let the press know instead, i mean its possible they want to run it... one piece of good news in the gazette should be a legal requirement.
MISSION ACCOMPLOSHED
